Root Maintenance and Care:  Roots are the most important and the most neglected part of your tree.  Some important steps in improving root health are:

Fertilizing  - Fertilizing is a major component of any tree maintenance program.  The purpose of fertilizing is to ensure a tree has access to sufficient nutrients required for good growth and development.  Fertilizers can increase a tree's growth, reduce the frequency and severity of certain pest attacks, and reverse decline.  Fertilizers should be useful in urban landscape situations where soils are frequently nutrient deficient.

Mulching - Mulching protects your tree by moderating soil temperatures and maintaining soil moisture.  Mulch in the form of wood chips will provide nutrients to your tree for several years.

Aerating - Aerating is the process of relieving soil compaction in order to allow water and oxygen to penetrate into the root zone.

Tree Removal:  Safe removal of dead, dying, dangerous, or unwanted trees.

Stump Removal:  We use a stump grinding machine to turn stumps into reusable mulch.  Stumps should be removed to avoid attracting unwanted pests such as carpenter ants, and is necessary if a new tree is to be planted.  Removing a stump can also increase usable space in a yard.

Pest Control:  We can prescribe the most efficient and safe method of eliminating or controlling insects and diseases that are affecting the look and health of your trees.
